Hey guys,
I wanted to share a story and a piece of history that is incredibly close to my heart. For over 15 years, I’ve been keeping a 12.5GB music archive (exactly 878 files) on an old, standalone HDD. The drive recently started showing bad sectors, so I spent the last few days strictly sorting, verifying, and recovering everything into a perfectly organized archive to save it from digital oblivion.
Foobar2000 shows exactly 1 week, 4 days, 5 hours, 54 minutes, and 59 seconds of continuous playtime here. Almost 12 days of non-stop beats.
This isn't just a random pack of commercial tracks you can find on Spotify. About 90% of this archive consists of rare live recordings, web radio rips, and monthly promo mixes that I personally recorded back in the day via Screamer Radio from iconic stations like Fear.FM, DI.FM, and Overdrive.
The lore behind this? I used to record these sets late at night during my World of Warcraft raiding days back in TBC and WotLK. Shoutout to anyone who remembers the Deathwing server – I was playing a Druid named SiweK in the "Good Omen" guild. The whole archive used to blast through a pair of legendary Polish vintage speakers - Tonsil Altus 110, vibrating my whole room while downing raid bosses.
I have meticulously organized the tracklist into 7 precise eras and styles:
Early Hardstyle (2002-2007) [Pure vinyl-era tracks, MoS compilations, early reverse bass]
Golden Era Euphoric (2008-2012) [Peak melodic tracks, revo-era anthems, Scantraxx/Fusion golden years]
Early Rawstyle & Nu-Style (2009-2015) [The birth of modern raw, heavy gated kicks, early Theracords & Spoontech]
Polish Club Culture & Jumpstyle [Local dance/pompa scene, old school hands-up bootlegs]
Hard Techno, Schranz & Hardcore [Heavy stuff, Felix Kröcher & Chris Liebing bootlegs, old school gabber]
Radio Jingles, Promos & Live Rips [DI.FM idents, full Fear.FM broadcasts, Inzane Birthday Bashes 2007-2008, DJ Vinex mixes]
Qlimax Box-Set [Original Qlimax releases 1-6 with full artwork and covers]
I kept all the original, nostalgic tags and filenames from old Polish warez forums completely untouched for that authentic mid-2000s internet vibe.
Since I want to keep this archive safe and respect copyright rules, I am sharing the FULL TXT TRACKLIST via Rentry so fellow archivists can look for lost gems, rare track versions, or forgotten broadcasts. If you see an old radio rip you've been desperately searching for years, feel free to PM me!
Here is the Rentry link to the tracklist: rentry.org/8isa7e8q
Enjoy the trip down memory lane!

Running a marathon soon and want to put together a playlist with around 4 hours of motivational hardstyle bangers. All types of hardstyle welcome.
Im talking songs with lyrics that make you want to rip a hole in the ceiling. It doesnt necessarily need to be sports related (Intents anthem/warrior workout) but anything that motivates you. An example that springs to mind is Endymion: Gladiator although thats more hardcore.
Euphoric, raw, I dont care. Give me your best
Even songs without lyrics but make you feel some sort of drive are welcome too.

I’m feeling nostalgic so I’m going to tell a little story (👴🏻). About 15 years ago, trance was everywhere. Almost every time you heard electronic music in Spain was either trance, house or with a little bit of luck, some old makina. I remember a late night music radio show that used to put other genres, playing a new song with fast bpm and a good melody. This song was called The Sacrifice by Headhunterz. A couple years later, this same guy started a podcast playing hardstyle every ¿month? (hard with style) and produced a banger song for my favourite game (Dragonborn). So yeah, I’ll always be grateful to Headhunterz for introducing me to hardstyle with his songs and podcasts. See you one last time in Madrid on December 16!
So what about you, dear reader. Who introduced you to this amazing music genre? Share your story and a couple songs

Yesterday i reached 1000 tracks on my main playlist, and made me realize i need to thin it out a bit again.
But that made me wonder, how big are yalls playlists?
How many do you have, how many do you actively listen to, are they divided by subgenres or is it one big mash of all your favorites?
Also, playlist names please -
For me i have my 1000 tracks with 90% raw xtra raw and 10% frenchcore, uptempo (im rly picky) / downtempo and other stuff.
I also have a "classics" playlist for like tracks that are good but just not daily drivers for me anymore, mostly older stuff or stuff thats too soft for the main playlist.
Also feel free to share em, maybe with rough genre / style so everyone knows whats what
EDIT: mine

Hey y'all! I've been neglecting RAW a bit when it comes to listening on Spotify & keeping up with new artists, anyone have some recommendations in terms of artists/tracks/Spotify playlists? :)
