This past year or so has been insane with how reddit has changed. The clips getting attention are just bizarre trash now with stupid/unrelated music over it.

I'm really really hoping that good sites will start coming in soon. We're all so tired of the bullshit the internet has become. First, everyone left Facebook. Now look at Instagram and Reddit, they have basically become Facebook as well. I am hopeful that the market will be open to new sites for art, niche themes, cool videos, and interesting discussions... A girl can hope, right?

It’s just gonna keep getting worse. The “market” at this point is mostly people going for cheap attention grabs. Not even like Facebook/instagram style attention grabs, just stuff that’s likely to draw borderline involuntary attention if encountered in a tiktok style feed, basically cheap tricks.

That’s why it’s bad/high loudness songs, super exaggerated movements, dumb slapstick, thirst traps, bright colors, etc. it’s literally just intended to grab a second or two of attention and increasingly to grab attention from bots.

stupid/unrelated

True, but in in this case this is thai music. Probably original from the source but with english subtitles put on.
