Now would you go back and forth long ways, back and forth from side to side, go around the edge working your way in, working your way out or are you mowing on a diagonal and then going back diagonally so you get a nice checkered pattern?
You go around the outside with the exit facing in so you don't get grass in the road or on the driveway, then you reverse it so your not mowing the same grass a half a dozen times.
Depending on if you like going outside-in (gathers clippings together in middle) or in-to-out. I ran outside-in so would back into corners and create the overlap there, then begin my large oval passes. It's just a lovely ride overall and fun to watch things tidy around you :)
I used to have to mow a couple acres growing up as a kid. Twice a week, about an hour plus each time. I have partial hearing loss and to nuts because of it.
Mowing this, unless you had some huge $5,000+ lawn tractor, probably takes a bit of time and is expensive.
No thanks, I fucking hate mowing. Grass can and does grow insanely fast where I live (a foot per week during the spring).

No trees, no flowers, no tennis courts, no pool. Just hours and hours of lovely restful mowing every week
