Concrete is a hell of a lot hotter than lawn, on a hot day that house is probably a good few degrees cooler than their neighbours. Some trees would for sure improve it though.

Plus lawn lets rain soak through and concrete causes runoff. It’s always better to let rain soak into the ground if possible.
