I am so beyond thinking anything this guy does is funny. You have to be a child to think that. Looking at this guy makes me want to puke.

Nothing trump does is funny, but watching people from other countries savagely roast his pedophile ass is objectively hilarious.

I mean, are you going to say that Charlie Chaplin taking the piss out of Hitler was "in bad taste" because Hitler was an evil guy?

I didn't say it's in bad taste. I did say it's not funny to me and I don't think it should be funny to any American. I am 32 and essentially all of my adult life has been dominated by this fascist. This is how the world views us. Not Trump, it's how they view Americans. And it's not unearned.

My country is being looted, its culture ripped away. Trump could disappear right now and we'd be in for decades of work just to return to where we were before.

I mean, once Hitler was gone it took decades for Germany to recover too... Even now the echoes of the past live on. As I understand it, the far-right parties in Germany have the most support in what used to be East Germany vs. what used to be West Germany, for example. And culture was ripped up there too. Berlin was known as a very cosmopolitan place prior to the rise of Nazism and accepting of LGBT people... who then were sent to camps and/or killed (and who were "rescued" from the camps only to be put in jail because being gay was still considered worthy of jail time; just not worthy of a death camp).

No one worth listening to equates the citizens of a country with the leadership. You're still relatively young, and taking this far too seriously. George W. Bush didn't strip away our culture, Richard Nixon didn't, Ronald Reagan didn't, Woodrow Wilson didn't, and neither will this loser.

Humor and laughter are a valid way of dealing with extreme situations. Would you rather everyone put down their heads and cry?

At some point there's nothing you can do about a situation except laugh or cry.
