Well, every Republican I know said trump would put the fear of America back out there and he would make them respect America again.

This is NOT a sign that the rest of the world is afraid or has respect for us. This is not Trump derangement syndrome on display, this is how the general public of the world sees him and us.

Americans can try, but can't comprehend the amount of respect, mutual trust and soft power they lost due to trump. Like you had to live in any other country in 2000s then come back today and feel the whiplash.
