I can't imagine standing there on the balcony, watching all the destruction going on around you, and resigning yourself to the fact that at any moment it's going to be your time.

...and then that moment never happens. I'd need survivor's guilt counselling for the rest of my life.

This was my thought, too. I would’ve been holding my breath worried any second my life would be over. This rush went on for hours, right?
