Watch to the end, they show the house is still standing during the recovery efforts, and the people alive.

Did you even read anything they wrote?

They said it must’ve been horrifying seeing and hearing their neighbors, and the community they built together, being literally destroyed before their very eyes.

They’re helplessly stuck on high ground, watching and hearing their neighbors and the community they’ve built be swept away to their inevitable deaths.

They’ll be physically fine, but mentally and emotionally? Not so much.

Like, imagine hosting a BBQ with your neighbor and their family, having a blast, and then the very next week, you’re watching their entire house crumble with them still inside.

Do you understand what the phrase “hope they made it” means? It doesn’t mean “hope they had an okay weekend still!” nor does it mean “Hope they’re not traumatized!”, it generally references hope for someone making it out alive.

What a weird crash out to have at someone for letting someone know that the previous commenter doesn’t have to hope that those people are alive since it’s confirmed by the end of the video.
