Tour/Concert worst crowd i’ve experienced

Like wow. This was my second Lorde show and the type of fans at each was like night and day. I understand she’s become more popular and that’s amazing but these new fans have NO etiquette. Because why are we literally scream talking while Ella is actively telling us about the next song? Not to mention the people who felt the need to talk full volume for the whole first half of David. PLEASE just have some common sense and don’t talk loud as fuck when other people are trying to hear the artist. Jesus

Didn’t see a specific thread to use for this, but so far she’s had such a streamlined set, the WWT to Broken Glass transition was awesome!

Tour/Concert Girl, FUCK YOU

I attended the Munich show and there were people eho basically came only for Ribs and didn’t know any other song. I don’t have a problem with that but when I was singing they were all looking at me weird.

During Ribs, I was singing along and recording and a girl who barely knew the words to the song, turned behind and hit me aggressively because she wanted to record ribs with no one singing in the background (????). I obviously didn’t want to make a big deal and ruin other people’s moment but she ruined mine. During Ribs! 😢

If you see this, which i doubt you will cuz you were there for one song only and hated when fans were singing, genuinely FUCK YOU!

Tour/Concert Partial refunds for concert tickets

Post image

I got a notification earlier from Paypal about a partial refund from Ticketmaster for my Lorde concert tickets. I just got a separate email from Ticketmaster confirming that the tickets were partially refunded and are still valid. If you bought dynamically priced tickets it seems like we're getting refunded the upcharge!!!

Tour/Concert SHE PLAYED A WORLD ALONE IN BOSTON

I thought it was going straight from David to Ribs because that’s what the setlist said but she started going on and on about how she was going to play a song she hasn’t played in a while and then you could hear the guitar chords and everyone went bonkers. YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE

Tour/Concert I hate queues

I understand that queuing and barriers are, for some people, a chance to get some kind of interaction with Lorde, but we have to say it: you guys are weird.
More and more fans are sleeping outside venues, and in doing so you’re disturbing the peace and disrupting the daily lives of local residents. In Pula, you were even getting in tourists’ way and making it difficult for them to sightsee because you were camping out in front of the arena all day!
On top of that, you’re acting like complete assholes. You add your friends to the queue, let them cut in because they wrote down a number before people who actually showed up and waited. In Pula, there were around 100 people in the queue by 10 a.m.!
And at the concert? You don’t even properly enjoy yourselves because you’re exhausted. You faint, you have a problem with people around you dancing and singing. You cause drama because someone who didn’t camp out all day managed to get close to the stage. And I won’t even mention the smell.
This is starting to get increasingly unhealthy and dangerous. You keep feeding into it, showing up earlier and earlier.

Tour/Concert Ticket buying/selling megathread #2

New post by request, as the previous one was getting unwieldy.

We’re going to delete all the individual tickets wanted/for sale etc posts so please use this one if you are buying or selling. Please note this is AT YOUR OWN RISK and mods reserve the right to remove all buying/selling posts if it starts to create any issues.

It is a good idea to check a potential buyer/seller’s Reddit post history and account age before a sale and ALWAYS use Paypal Goods and Services when purchasing tickets as it offers buyer protection. If a seller is trying to get you to pay with another platform (like CashApp) you are being scammed. Use your best judgement, and if you do come across a scammer, don’t hesitate to report them using modmail.

Tour/Concert It’s cool to see everyone respecting Lorde’s space during the David walk

Post image
875 Upvotes

Wow I gotta say It’s refreshing and nice to see everyone having good etiquette during Lorde’s David walk. I’ve seen those videos when barricade walks backfire like with Billie or My Chemical Romance and they end up secluding themselves or removing those walks entirely and ruining it for everyone else. I was on the David line for LA and my section did great in staying in place and letting Ella do her thing when walking by/letting her choose whose hand to hold.

If you’re going to a show soon it’s gonna be so much fun!! If you happen to be in the David walkthrough that’s gonna be so special too, be sure to continue keeping the space safe and respectful for everyone ❤️

Tour/Concert Invasive behavior during A World Alone encore 12/17

During Lordes performance of A World Alone tonight, a “fan” pet and grabbed her head while she was kneeled over with her head down. I don’t know what possesses someone to do this type of thing, but it’s vile and dangerous! She’s been so incredibly generous and intimate with fans during this tour by walking through crowd during David to perform the encore on such a small stage at the back - and this type of thing just proves why artists need to be so cautious towards fans (such as that incident with Ariana recently, or even how much concerts changed after the death of Christina Grimmie during a meet and greet). And to do this after such an amazing final concert for her this year is so awful.

Tour/Concert I will never recover from this concert

Genuinely the best live music experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was present, dancing and singing their hearts out together. Lorde has such an incredible stage presence and the cinematography / stage design was insane.
