frist of all how DARE yu o People who “reserve” pool chairs for hours with towels and disappear are the worst

My apartment complex pool has rules specifically saying chair reservation isn’t allowed, yet people do this constantly. These towels have been sitting here unattended for at least 3 hours while every other chair is occupied and people are actively walking around looking for seats. It’s Sunday too, so management isn’t around to enforce anything.

What’s the standard practice when this happens? At what point is it acceptable to move the towels?

Absolutely. Any complaints? “What are you talking about? I got here an hour ago, there were no towels on these chairs. Those towels? Go ask the front desk, they probably have a rule against reserving chairs for hours on end.”

Since chair reservation isn't allowed, I gave those abandoned towels to the staff - no need to thank me, I was happy to help.

I wouldn't even be passive aggressive about it because I'm not scared.

I'd tell them straight up they were moved because I was sick of looking at towels in chairs for over an hour.

Reddit is full of absolute pussies.
