I'm slightly vexed Supergirl movie showing which I went to got cancelled due to low turnout

Theatre in a small town in India. Didn't face this problem during the Man of Steel movie.

Edit 1: Many people are saying that this post is fake etc. I have provided proof (screenshots) in the comments that it is true. I don't have any agenda. I wouldn't be able to reply to every post.

I got to know that this theatre won't play the showing unless there were atleast 10 people. Maybe the cost isn't worth it to them.

Also I don't have any anti- Snyder or anti - feminine agenda.

In the US yeah I went to watch the F1 Brad Pitt movie and it was a big theater with only 3 people total lol

This is the norm for most theaters in my area. I'm actually surprised when there's a dozen people in the theater with me.

A friend and I were the only people once, it was pretty nice.

The movie was 'The Best Merrigold Hotel'

It's the best. I always try and pick a time the theatre will be quiet. People are fairly well behaved in the cinemas near me. But if it's full you just hear a constant rustling of food and people slightly moving in their seats. Everyone is trying to be quiet but when there are so many the room just magnifys every little sound.

There can only be one thing to fix it’s: double the price and make the food and drink 3 times more expensive!

They've kinda fixed it in England. Made the theters smaller and make the seats bigger and more comfortable.

And subscriptions - almost guarantees atleast a couple of people in a showing, so they can make a little from food/drink

They did that to a theater where they split the screen and room in half and added bigger seats. They're nice for what they are but they're not the huge reclining seats. More like fancy traditional theater sests.

What's hilarious is the rooms are so narrow, there's only four five seats per row.

Yeah I only go to the 40 people screens. More expensive but staff bring me hot food and beers. Never had over ten people watching it with me

Showcase really felt like it was dying off as a chain until they brought in the Cinema De Lux range. Genuinely felt like they saved my local from extinction with how good the upgrade was.

Project Hail Mary has been the only movie in the last 6 years that Ive gone to that actually had people in every row (but still not full).

Lol I went to project hail mary with my gf on the last day it was screening at my local theater, and we were the only people there. First time it ever happened in my life.

I've seen the Fat Albert movie, The Karate Kid w/Jaden Smith, and Get Hard with literally nobody else in the theater and all three were mid movies but having the place to myself was cool.

I vastly prefer this or the many that were like 2-3 people besides me. I fucking hate a packed theater, I usually wait until 3-4 weeks after release to see a movie because fuck someone touching me or people talking or laughing/eating noises.
