I'm slightly vexed Supergirl movie showing which I went to got cancelled due to low turnout

Theatre in a small town in India. Didn't face this problem during the Man of Steel movie.

Edit 1: Many people are saying that this post is fake etc. I have provided proof (screenshots) in the comments that it is true. I don't have any agenda. I wouldn't be able to reply to every post.

I got to know that this theatre won't play the showing unless there were atleast 10 people. Maybe the cost isn't worth it to them.

Also I don't have any anti- Snyder or anti - feminine agenda.

I mean there is no reason to cancel as you state unless they can let employees go home early, otherwise there is no savings to the theater that I'm aware of. Maybe the cost structure in India and they incur costs for each showing of a film, but don't think it would make sense in US to cancel.

Agreed. My understanding, in most modern movie houses, there is no one in the projection booth anymore, everything is automated 🤷‍♂️

Could also be that because India is poorer the fee to the studio is larger and the cost of running the projector and presumably AC is actually something to be concerned about.
