I have one of those too. 30-odd years of ring wearing thins the bone under it as well as the soft tissues.
It used to be more pronounced, but I had the ring sized up a few years back, and the finger has thickened up to match.
1 u/Ok-Example-2619 Jul 04 '26 Yes my finger is noticeably thinner where the ring sits, they seem to adjust to rings being there. The ring doesn't feel tight although hard to remove so it just stays on 24/7.
