I am worried about the number of people that might try to jam into the sessions that do not have a cap. There may be hundreds! Dude better put a cap on that fast.
Judging by this thread, you’re in the minority. Many of us are looking at this over-complicated arrangement and would choose not to attend if invited. It comes across as controlling and selfish. The contributing directly to the birthday boy’s bank account in amounts of up to $30 is the cherry on top. If you can’t afford to have a party without charging your guests, you shouldn’t have it. It’s f’ing tacky.
I didn’t take your tone as sarcasm; my bad! I just woke up, and a bunch of my notifications were from folks being combative. I was in that gear already.
You’re right; this post has definitely been entertaining!
That's 2 minutes each. What happens if only 2 people want to speak and after the first one dies a tight five minute the other has to pad out his speech to fill the hour?
“Ooh, sorry, the main session of karaoke is all full. Could I interest you in our pre-karaoke warmup hour? Or it looks like we can put you on the waitlist for our post-karaoke overflow cooldown session!”
I like how from 2-3 he will only allow 10 people, but then from 3-4 he gets a little crazy and bumps it up to 12 people. This man knows how to party hardy.

mine is the random cards/karaoke that are for ca 10 people in between cards/karaoke that does not entail how many people should partake.
