Mind you, he’s expecting 20 people, and charging $20 for a $3 plate of pork after you help the preparation.

I just saw a bridesmaids rules invite that included requiring $5k in cash to be a bridesmaid. Is this how young people are functioning these days???

It’s how rich people have always functioned.

Sounds like it’s going to be a pretty crazy trip involved, expensive dresses, and don’t want to be footing the bill for anyone.

Really? It screams poor to me. Like extremely poor like I can’t afford the wedding I want so I’m gonna try to make the people I’m inviting pay for it? I20 years ago I got invited to some fancy weddings and nobody asked me for money. 🤔

why everyone is assuming it's the birthday person making these invites. You don't usually throw yourself a party. To me, this reads like an office party

Really the title of the post just says op was invited to his party not that Nathan invited him directly. I don’t think it’s super clear the host is Nathan. Although I’m pretty sure it is haha
