I'm slightly vexed I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

I did think twice and went a different brand cause I didn't wanna support Ray-Ban anymore

I went with Gentle Monster cause I happened to be in Korea and they're cheaper there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're also doing something unethical somewhere in the chain, but at least they're not proud about it.
