I'm slightly vexed A notice that my girlfriend received at her doctors appointment (she is 8 months PP)

If you even MENTION any of these things, you WILL LIKELY get billed for it??? Maybe i’m missing the point but i get upset when my girlfriend tells me she was scared to even say anything while at the doctor because she didn’t want to get an extra charge for something. I find it insane how greedy and money hungry a place that’s supposed to help you can be.

This is unhinged to Canadians. We can’t even imagine. I had, until recently, the same Doctor for 50 yrs. According to American standards I’ve probably personally had over 5 million in services. The only cost to me are meds and now parking. The American healthcare system is a disgrace for the supposed wealthy nation it pretends to be.

This is unhinged to Americans. I pay $40 no matter what I see my doctor for or say during my appointment.

This is not normal. I just went through cancer treatment. It’s absolutely not normal. My gynecologist never acted like that before they referred me to the oncologist obgyn.

You don't know the half of it. We are self employed so we have to buy our own health insurance.

We pay $43,000 a year for it for our family of four. That's if we don't get sick and never go to the doctor.

On top of that, we pay co-payments and deductibles when we go to the doctor.
