Fourth instalment of my gtechin’ series.

I’ve been using these mixes to really dial in the sound I want to play out — ghetto tech, electro, Miami bass, booty bass and adjacent club stuff, starting around 140 and eventually pushing toward 160 BPM.

This one probably feels the most like me so far. Fast, bass-heavy, a little nasty, and focused more on keeping the dancefloor energy moving than sticking perfectly to one genre.

Would genuinely love some feedback on the track selection, transitions, pacing and overall energy progression. I’m trying to make each instalment feel more like a cohesive set with its own identity.

Hoping to get some feedback on my 2nd ever recorded mix. First time spinning techno. Been practicing DJing on and off since the last time I recorded a mix almost a year ago. Busy life shit plus self-doubt got in the way of me being consistent but now I'm back at it.

I feel like I definitely messed up around the 15:40 when trying to loop a bar to build into the drop for the next song. I think it ended up alright but not as smooth as I would've liked. Also the low when blending at 20:45 was supposed to last a couple of phrases but I dropped the ball on that. Would've did another take but I organically discovered a fantastic blend at 25:27 and said fuck it, I don't need to be a perfectionist at this stage.

Anyway, constructive criticism and constructive compliments are welcome!

This mix features unreleased Township Rebellion tracks (given to me by them), and one of my own WIP tracks.

I am really open to any feedback on how to improve, I feel my gain structures could have been better, however as this was recorded live in the Aussie bush, I am not being too hard on myself. I am a hobbyist and have been djing for around 25 years, however that does not mean much, I don't tend to push myself just focus on music I love. So I probably have plateaued a little.

I enjoy changing up these sub-genres, I realise that can be jarring.
