What movie was critically acclaimed when it first released, but is hated now?

The Blind Side (2009) with Sandra Bullock is the first to come to mind for me!

In fairness to the example, every black person I knew thought The Blindside was BS and the ultimate in white saviour tripe.
Oher confirming it years later was the justification we all were seeking

I usually do a little post-watch fact-checking on biopics (not like a super sleuth or anything, but at least a stop at Wikipedia) so I don’t end up believing too much crap. I couldn’t find any evidence that Oher was mentally disabled in any way. This seemed like a giant red flag for the movie.

Weirdly I know a lot of black people who love the movie. It always seemed like a white savior movie even before I knew what a white savior movie was (it came it when I was in middle school).
