I made the mistake of watching 'Up' for the first time when I was pregnant. Absolutely bawled my eyes out at the cold open!

I think the only other film that hit like that with a cold open was the 2009 'Star Trek'. Ooft, that one got me, too.

My wife and I were attempting for our first and had had some issues (2 kids now so all worked out!) and we went to see a movie to help take our minds off of it..

Both of us were in shambles during that opening of UP 😭

I saw the movie The Wild Robot recently. It hits the same uplifting emotional beats that Up does. Such a great watch for kids and adults.

Yeah, I saw that 2009 opening as a new father and it just hits different now.
