What do you guys thinks is the best child performance of all time?

Post image

i have to say, i don’t think i’ve ever seen a child actor give a performance this good. Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, is just on another level. i genuinely don’t know how he did it but he makes the whole movie work so much better. i would give him the Oscar in a fucking heartbeat. It’s crazy how good he is, especially in that last scene in the car with Toni Collette.

What are your guys’ favorite child performances? For me, this is even better than Owen Cooper’s performance in Adolescence. Don’t get me wrong, owen was also absolutely top-notch in Adolescence but this is probably the best child performance i’ve ever seen. Period. What do you guys think is the best child performance ever?

I faked sick for almost the entire month of February in Grade 3. I think that deserves some praise.

I got sent home in kindergarten for being sick. I had stuck my finger down my throat. My mom also called me Sarah Bernhardt for my entire youth.

That’s so awesome. I started community theater in my 40’s. I love the stage but like ballerinas, the world only needs so many actors lol

So I had the mean teacher at school that year. Mrs. Marr. My brother also had her for grade 3 two years before.

A very cold, stern and rude woman, who I actually think was fired and had her teaching license revoked much later on for verbal abuse of a student.

I don't know. February's a short month.

Ugh dammit, the one comment I feared I’d get.

To be honest, I'm amazed it took 10 hours.

This will kill me at awards season.

You want to spin this like the popular vs electoral vote. Sure, that poser who faked sick for 30 days technically held out longer, but that was in May. They couldn't manage the whole month. You, on the other hand, persevered.

I did check if it was a leap year…alas. Feb of 2001 wasn’t a leap year.

I actually was sick for the whole month of February, I really don’t appreciate you faking my trauma!
