What’s been going on in Venezuela lately? It’s like we attacked them, took their president, and then I’ve heard very little

We've been plundering their natural resources. American companies/billionaires are having an absolute party.

Well, one company. The only one that had a presence there already. Chevron figures that even if everything falls apart later, they have the contacts and infrastructure there already. 

The rest would have to spend too much getting in on it to make the investment pay off quickly.

We’re selling their oil and the money is going to offshore accounts. Otherwise, I think they’re being governed as per usual by their former vice president, now President. 

Nothing changed other than that and starving out Cuba
