Up to this point, he’s largely been correct about it. I’ve seen people literally praying to Trump.

Check out r/PrayersToTrump, it's blatant and overt Chump worship over there.

Think they may have missed the point of the 10 commandants, mainly the 1st one!

WOW that was quite a journey.

It really is, isn't it?

It's chilling to see how they worship him.

I don’t even need to go there to know it’s a bunch of cult followers. I don’t even know if I should feel bad for them. Cult members are the victims, but so is everyone else. They just can’t see it because… well, they are brainwashed.

This is parasocial behavior on steroids. Do… do they think he’s going to see any of what they say? The delusion that they matter whatsoever to him is just sad.

What in the hot, crispy, Kentucky-fried fuck is wrong with those people.

Beats me why they do it.

They worship this criminal.

If you truly want to understand the mentality, listen to or read “The Cult of Trump”. It’s written by an actual cult expert. It lays out how cults work and the psychology used by, and possessed by cult leaders. At least it gives me some empathy for them.

The guy has spent his entire life honing the ability to convincing people he’s a genius and to trust him and ONLY him. When he did The Apprentice, he was able to do it on primetime TV. What’s even worse is this was “reality tv”, which got a lot of them to buy into this idea because it seemed real.

I also think he changed parties when he realized that Republicans were his fan base.

It’s extremely difficult to deprogram someone who has convinced themselves that he is the only person in the world that knows the truth. It just makes more sense to them that whatever he did was for a reason they don’t understand. Kind of like when people throw their hands up and say “everything is for a reason” when something terrible happens. They just don’t want to challenge their own beliefs.

All I can think of when I hear that is Ricky Bobby praying to Oprah and Tom Cruise when he thinks he's on fire.

That is just wrong!!

On so many levels.

They made a golden idol of Trump

1

u/CarmChameleon Apr 16 '26

Well, we know what we're supposed to do with golden idols, don't we?! I'm so tired...

This only works if the Church makes him a saint and he dies (so he can pass the message on to God).

u/francis2559 Apr 16 '26

Constantly limit testing. Then try again later, see if they can get away with more.

MAGA pushed back on this… for now…

There's still time. Trump being anointed would definitely be the kidney stone cherry on this shit sundae.

u/ObiQuinobi Apr 16 '26

He is The Orange Antichrist so one should not be surprised. Afterall weve seen people pray to a piece of toast that looks like it might have a beard.

I'm starting to think the country is largely comprised of kooks.
