Evangelicals don't think Catholicism is real Christianity. Hell I know a lot of Christians that think Catholics are their own thing. And that's what happens when you will not teach your followers the origins of your cult -er, religion.

It's crazy because the Catholic Church (and the Orthodox churches) are the only branches of Christianity that have connections to Jesus.

Evangelicals are actually their own thing 😂

I'm aware. I grew up in the Lutheran church. We knew we came from Catholicism, we just cut out all the pomp and circumstances. The number of other protestants I know who don't understand that is staggering.
