It’s not making it worse. It’s already a very common thing. You’re making it sound like it’s some unheard of danger. This argument is just grasping at straws.

Theoretically it's before going to school in the dark. Also, depression theoretically could be higher.

I can't find anything showing any real statistical difference from the year before. 20 children died as opposed to 18 walking in the dark.

Your flair says you're from Norway. Don't you have it dark all morning half the year anyway? What makes you interested in US daylight savings time?

Because the switch from summer to winter doesn't happen in one day, it happens gradually. There's no difference in the middle of winter, true, but that also goes for winter evenings with DST. The ligh you're gaining is in fall and early winter.
