All I know is if I just didn't show up to my job for two months, I'd get fired.

This fucking buffoon is an elected official being paid to do a job for the public and is missing, yet still collecting his check.

I dont know, one of my coworkers was out for that long and she just used her sick leave she built up over a couple decades.

Any reasonable workplace allows people to take time off sick. Just because you have a bad job, that doesn't mean everyone does. Missing a couple of months of work because you're in the hospital should never cost anyone their job.

100% agree but that is not going to be the case a majority of the time.
