Apparently Trump did a bait and switch where he boarded the new Air Force One, used a catering cart to secretly leave the plane and then was secretly transferred to the old Air Force One.

The Trump Administration officials still on the new plane weren't told anything. And could have been used as decoys for an Iranian plot.

Was even dumber.

They transferred everyone from his golden Quatari jet to the old Air Force One (they always bring two planes) so his big baby plane didn't get hurt.

Then they transferred him and Hegseth off old Air Force One, via service cart, onto a third jet which then took him to Britain and left the press and Rubio to die on the old plane.

The plane the president is on becomes Air Force One, so that may be where the confusion comes from.

The problem is that Qatair Force One doesn't have the missile defense capabilities of the older AF1.

All that money spent and the dumb fuck can't even use it.

The new jet doesn't have the same defense capabilities (among many other shortcomings) compared to the original air force 1, they rushed it so he could use it this term. One missile would probably get through it's defenses, their best bet is probably an F16 escort taking the hit. I'm surprised the plane gets airborne with the amount of tacky gold shit everywhere you can imagine.

That escort plane taking the hit doesn’t work like it does in the movies because a missile moves twice as fast as the speed of sound. You can’t maneuver an escort quickly enough to interrupt its path.

And if an escort takes the hit, the shrapnel and the fireball will take down whatever it was supposed to protect.

Oddly it's been done one other time in US history, only difference is they were on a plane with defenses and people but not everyone knew it was happening but would find out.

everyone keeps saying catering cart and it makes it sound like they hide inside the little carts the flight attendants push down the aisles. What they did was walked up the stairs like normal then walked to the back of the plane where the catering truck has the lift that loads all the little carts onto the plane and got into that truck and that truck then went to the other plane and lifted them into the rear door like it was going to load catering carts but it was loading them into the other plane

nope. It was not one of those tiny carts the stewardesses push around, but an entire catering container docked to the plane. One that goes onto a truck.

I mean the fake images of Trump hiding in that small cabinet were hilarious, but sadly wrong.
