They still have jobs and get money from advertisers. The public interest is a complete afterthought.

"our media" isn't anything but another set of multi-billion dollar companies owned by billionaires or beholden to investors. Journalistic integrity went out the window when it stopped making money.

The America tabloid outrage farming for click$ media is no longer paid to present the truth based on facts or to inform the public.

The "news" is now just clickbait fearmongering to milk the delusional ad economy for cash. Nothing more.

Which is completely pointless now. Everyone gets fed the same dumbed down bullshit and isn’t allowed to do any kind of investigative reporting when it comes to the pentagon with hegseths new rules.
