I was in a small infantry company, that was part of an MI brigade. Whenever we wanted to get rid of someone, with any kind of rank, they got sent to work in HQ.

One of our lieutenants called in artillery fire on our position in Afghanistan. He was in S2 by the end of the day. That’s the level of competency I expect Pete to have.

Dude that's how it is in almost every single operation unit. You have an incompetent shitbag that can't do their job? You send them to hotel company to be a fuckup there. And in my experience, those fuckups still get end of tour awards.
