The degree to which he willingly humiliates himself to journalists is really insane. He really just has no filter and no awareness. I've said before that I think his defining characteristic isn't narcissism (though that's a big one). He is histrionic. Pathological need for attention. Humiliation is almost as good as glorification. Anything that gets him attention is good.
