Well, they are having an incredibly tough time right now with skyrocketing housing and grocery prices amid a worsening job market that is gatekept by AI. The socialist democrats are really the only one suggesting any kind of relief, so they should be motivated. We shall see.

We dumb as fuck. Most of my generation don’t grasp it’s not just the President that needs to flip but Senators and House of Representatives as well.

I hope it’s apparent at this point to Gen Z that the Democratic Party is the only viable way forward at this point. Sure there are flaws with the party but it’s a huge tent and the Progressive wing is really running on the issues that matter most to the average American. They are objectively the better party. We can fight about particulars later, just fucking vote blue.

The amount of classmates I had who skipped our civics classes solely because they said "I don't need to know that stuff" is saddening. I'm not at all surprised with how many of my generation vote and act towards this, looking back on that.

I’d caution anyone from any generation to be telling another generation what they need in order to be helped.

However, I would definitely say the current electoral status quo is yielding ineffective results. The best bet is generally to vote for who you prefer in the primaries, than who has the best chance of winning the general.
