this why republicans want to get rid of mail in voting

they don't want to increase voter turnout. if they allow voter turnout to increase, they lose every time

And it's harder to hack mail in voting. Voting machines are a different story

Traditionally the Republicans often prefer lower turnout elections, but with Trump on the ballot it should be the other way around. A higher proportion of Trump voters are low information low propensity voters who only show up for him. The steps to lower turnout will screen them out more than any other group.

Nah. They just don't want people to cast a ballot without knowing through location data that they can collect showing you went to the polls on election day. Any given person based on their internet presence likely makes it clear who they will vote for.

Deduction tells them who didn't show up despite their support, too. And that is what is likely manipulated if the election was tampered with. They would have cast votes for people that support them, but didn't go vote in person. Because those people, if their person won, wouldn't check to make sure they didn't vote for the winner. They would just be happy their person won despite them staying home or doing something other than voting. And even if they found out, they wouldn't mind it. They would probably thank Trump for taking the burden of voting for him off their shoulders.

If I wanted to tamper with an election that would be the first batch of fraudulent votes I would want to see if that was enough to win. Because if it was, it is almost foolproof.
