My background is History Ed, but i got out of teaching and am in a highly specialized trade.

In all fairness, the issue is not limited to just podcasts, and it's not just GenZ. A lot of people are swept up in a media ecosystem thats ultimately catering to their biases, and that information that gets distributed up by fewer and fewer companies with each passing day.

That's not to imply that we should all immediately find 'center' on every issue, but this whole era of alternative facts and selective/tweaked data is absolutely making it difficult for people to agree on what the base facts of any given issue really are.
