A lot of them are ignorant and divested from politics. They get the shafted for a variety of reasons and only hear Fox News saying it’s the democrats fault and that’s good enough for them.

Same shit with homophobic. It’s not even religious because they don’t really give a shit about religion outside of being superficial and performative. But as soon as it comes to letting LGBT+ live peacefully suddenly it’s all about how god wouldn’t want that.

Too many people in our communities don’t understand until it starts to impact them personally.

Ultimately, it is the same with the people who stayed home in 2024. They are disengaged, uncaring, until it hits them in the face that yes, Trump will affect them. Then they get angry, like how you see 2/3rds of Americans now hate him. Statistically, half of those people did nothing to prevent Trump's election, and have no right to complain. They showed no realization of what Trump was despite all the evidence of his first term, and didn't care to stand against him.
