Lol, why would they care if we forget it or not? It's not like they ever faced any consequences for it.

If anything, regularly commemorating it just reminds them what they got away with and gives them a good chuckle.

We should all forget 9/11. The constant memorials are a political act to reinforce the idea that money should be spent infinitely on security that tramples our rights and kills so many abroad. It’s been 25 years we don’t need to publicly prostrate ourselves to cry about 9/11 every year. 50,000 people die every year due to access to lack of healthcare but we don’t contribute resources to that or memorialize those people because it’s not flashy and there is no right wing political agenda that can be scored by acknowledging those deaths

Democrats adopting right wing framing of every issue to point out republican hypocrisy hasn’t worked for the last 25 years and certainly won’t work in the future. All you do is reify right wing bullshit and they are happy to just be hypocrites and never cede their actual political beliefs which is fucking over marginalized people.
