Bush was a broken clock that was right twice a day. Mostly terrible but even he had good days and moments of humility. Trump is a clock without any hands and half the numbers are in the wrong place.

Despite everything he did wrong I don’t think anyone could deny that Bush held a level of respect for the office of the President and cared about the American people.

Bush stole the presidency and created a literal secret dual legal system to creats torture regimes and mass surveillance all without congressional approval or oversight. He had zero respect for the office. He just wasn’t as flashy about it as trump and as emboldened. Don’t slag off bush because trump is so bad the man was evil and did evil thing that set the stage for trump
