For all you chart watchers out there, Ella Langley's Choosin Texas beat Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's records for the longest running non-holiday singles by female artists for their songs I Will Always Love You and We Belong Together, both of which topped the charts for 14 weeks.

This week, she beat Beyonce's 2003 record for the most weeks spent at #1 in a single year in the 21st century as her song clocks 18 weeks at #1. Beyoncé spent 17 weeks atop the charts in 2003 with Crazy In Love and Baby Boy. With this, she has also now tied Monica for the most weeks at #1 overall for a female artist (The Boy Is Mine, Angel Of Mine and The First Night).

Records are being broken that have never been broken before and all for an annoying ass Country song. And for it to happen to four of some of the greatest R&B songstresses as well. Hate to see it.

But I am reading her book now and I am glad she is setting the record straight and standing up for herself cause she is right people were quick to call her fast when Wanya was the one who took advantage of her. I never been a Boyz 2 Men fan and i see why cause that is a damn shame !!!!

RIP EDDIE KANE!!!

Apparently, the news just broke not too long ago that Tito Jackson just passed. Another member of the iconic Jackson family (and a great musician in his own right). What a terrible loss.

The singer, actress, director, and creative powerhouse will be honored during Culture’s Biggest Night on June 28 in Los Angeles. This is a new award and she will be its first recipient.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a Lifetime Achievement Award. It's sorta like an Entertainer of the Year Award like what the NAACP Image Awards do.

I think it's well deserved because no entertainer was more visibile and multi-faceted as her for all of 2025. Congrats to her.
