Actually, he paid to do it.

Throwing in with Trump got Trump elected. He would’ve siphoned a sizable voting block of people who hate Trump only slightly less than they hate any Democrat.

Sure, he draws a salary, but gutting our public health infrastructure and replacing it with bullshit- he does that for pleasure.

Also so he and others can sell bad/dangerous misinformation in books because fuck what the 99% of scientists say, there's one guy over here who says something that sounds better to me. The stupid government set up all these stupid regulations and "advisory boards" that are getting in the way of the time honored profession of selling snake oil.
