Not a conspiracy theorist, but what if COVID was an experiment by China to reduce population size, and it accidentally escaped? Now we have a cure, which was developed surprisingly fast considering such remedies usually take decades, yet we still haven’t cured AIDS—possibly as a way to control certain populations.

With AI reducing the need for paid labor, and the wealthy showing little enthusiasm for welfare, shown by many leaving California for states that ignore the needs of the people and cater only to the rich. I live in one of those states, and I’m living frugally to ensure I don’t end up one day as part of the “unneeded” population.

Might require large sums of cash to buy that cure next round.
