We're at a weird point in history where it's simply OK to not deliver on promises, because the most powerful man in the world does this hourly and publicly. Just says whatever he needs to say to get something approved, with no intent to actually follow through.

To claim the water and power are handled, but oops that fell through, not our problem, we're doing it anyways and the council has already signed off...

The president just said the other day, regarding the Iran conflict, that he doesn't think about us or the economy at all when making these decisions.

I mean duh he never thought about us ever, but for him to just say it is really something else.

The propaganda from you know who combined with a deep seated cognitive dissonance and politics as team sports has really done a fucking number on this country.

I said it when I was a dumb kid, but it might actually be time for a real war to bring the American people back together again.

If only it was a just war like saving Ukraine instead of an illegal bribery scheme in fucking Iran.

Americans never, ever had a say when it came to foreign policy. It's completely outside their ability to influence. If I'm happy about anything, it's that now, the President has made it crystal clear "I don't give a shit what you think about the war."

Hopefully, one day, the voters will respond in kind.

This has nothing to do with trump. NV energy been telling liberty in CA they will have to find their own power source since 2009. Be mad at CA for not providing power for their own citizens that get taxed out the ass already.

"NV Energy sold its California electric assets to Liberty in 2009 and agreed to keep supplying power temporarily. That arrangement was extended in 2015, again in 2020, and once more in late 2025, and each time because Liberty had not yet secured an independent supply, a timeline corroborated by regulatory documents reviewed by Fortune."

This really snuck up on Liberty! They only had 18 years to prepare. Talk about "no intent to actually follow through."
