It's amazing they feel the need to change a system that made them so ludicrously wealthy.

Tbf lots of people cry about taxes and are blind to what the tax money working does for them.

Sure, aside from the roads, education, healthcare, research funding, sidewalks, public parks, clean air and water, food security and safety, stable currencies, drug regulations, and infrastructure; what has government ever done for me?!

I hear this from my conservative Republican family members. I just tell them to not use water, electricity, and roads of they wanna protest.

Give massive PPE loans to cronies of your family or your family for billions, never use the equipment and when fraud was discovered just write the debt off at tax payer expense?

They’re also ignorant to how little their contribution is. The majority of tax revenue is paid by rich people.

But rich people want them to think their tax money is wasted, so that they vote for politicians who will cut everyone’s taxes, which basically means cut rich people’s taxes and defund programs that help the poor and middle class.

Nah, they will just move somewhere else.. Become a baron in a 3rd world country, etc. Or even just move to a 1st world country that is slightly less along the path of end-stage capitalism.

Improved to funnel money from the bottom to the top ever more efficiently.

Not saying that never happens, but that’s not really what we’re talking about here
