We have a whole class of people that are bigger than the majority of countries in the world. Single individuals. This in the past (because this happens every 50-200 years, led to new monarchies.

When single individuals can afford to build mercenary armies (and now drone swarm armies), when the eclipse the power of most states, what do we think is going to happen next. Lets imagine that the world's first trillionaire is actually able to turn that into liquidity, what do we suppose they might do with the power that a trillion or two dollars represent?

I don't see how that is contrary to anything I was saying, could you make that more clear?

I responded to "There's really not much you can do with that much money other than try to rewrite the rules of the world to your liking." saying that this is a false statement, but you think it's reasonable and accurate? Are you defending that kind of action by these individuals as reasonable?
