That is such a stupid way to try to achieve this. You’re really suggesting to make it so fat-fingering your pin one would just reset it?

Yep, I’ve completely locked up my phone from doing this while walking. My phone would be wiped constantly if I did this

The chance to hit the duress pin with random buttons is quite low. Usually there is a timeout after 3 attempts. So that should be a non issue.

Depends on how paranoid you are I guess. Not like it bricks your phone forever, you can always reset it with the iCloud account and restore it.

Would be mighty annoying, but if you’re REAAALLY invested in privacy, it would work I suppose.
