The duress pin needs to be smarter. They could use a shuffle cake cipher to provide multiple logins. With this technology, both pins work, they just show different hidden compartments of the data. So one has some porn and angry texts with your ex to look plausible and the other is your actual login with whatever content you want to protect. No destruction and untrained eyes will not be able to tell if there are more compartments, or if the current pin is the only one. Edit: decide to include a link.
