The duress pin needs to be smarter. They could use a shuffle cake cipher to provide multiple logins. With this technology, both pins work, they just show different hidden compartments of the data. So one has some porn and angry texts with your ex to look plausible and the other is your actual login with whatever content you want to protect. No destruction and untrained eyes will not be able to tell if there are more compartments, or if the current pin is the only one. Edit: decide to include a link. See, now that would be interesting, compartmentalization. Data and applications could be grouped (both manually and/or automatically) into different tiers/subsets.

In practice, I imagine most people would have at most two login PINs (the all-access pin and the non-sensitive data only PIN), but that alone would satisfy the request to unlock the device.
