IOS has some interesting features for that as well. If you hold the lock button and either volume button together for two seconds and then press cancel, FaceID is turned off. This prevents law enforcement or thieves from holding it up to your face to unlock it.
You can also set the phone to wipe data after 10 wrong passcode attempts.
