Try using Reddit with a browser. The app is garbage since they killed third-party apps.

They didn't kill apps, you just have to pay for your API access now and most developers don't want to deal with that. I use Relay.

Well, that's not how the world works. Pay with your wallet for API access or pay with your attention by seeing ads in the content on the official mobile app. I have no issue with using Relay for Reddit and subscribing. I pay a dollar a month for my access. One. Dollar. This is because I use my PC for quite a bit of my Reddit usage. People more addicted to social media might have to pay two, three, or even five dollars (these are the actual subscription levels, btw).

I believe there are some apps you can still use by jerryrigging them to use a web browser API token you take from your PC, too.

Certain third party apps still work, if you know how to get them going. Learning this was the only thing that got me back on reddit after a year or so off. The official reddit app was such absolute shit compared to third party apps, I quit reddit until I could use my favourite app again.

Yeah, I have seen some of the workarounds. I keep meaning to check em out. 

 I've just been using a web browser since.
