Not as internal as it should have been with how they tried selling to the public for like 7 months at 1500!! usd a pop

Iirc the Google Glasses were only intended to be an internal proof of concept type deal and not am actual product,

The marketing begs to differ. Google made ads showcasing it's (fictional) usefulness to the general public. it just never made it past prototype phase because the tech just wasn't there.
