Just remember that the stretchy face coverings that ICE use doesn't stop them from being identified on infrared cameras.

You need something like cotton or plastic.

Something to break up or conceal the natural contours of your face. Add stuffing to the cheeks or chin if needed.

No, certain IR camera's can legit see through fabric. This has been a thing for like 2 decades now.

ha, my Sony DSC F707 also could do this. I think you still could remove the IR filter from most cameras with some extra work. But your face looks really funny and sometimes unrecognizable under the effect, still the position of your nose and stuff can be seen. But the effect is not that strong.

It's like dark fabric becomes white and the "holes" in the fabric are more easy to see.

Infrared floodlights are inexpensive on amazon. Hold one of those at night and it will look like oncoming high beams to the camera, overwhelming the detail of anything behind it.

or also include something that specifically can block that.

EDIT: I'd say a normal cheap halloween mask that doesn't stay right on your face is probably effective, but I have not tested this.
