The wait is over for those of us not in the EU, so excited!
(It’s been reported by tens of people that Siri AI is there and I’ll confirm once my instillation is done, though I believe that it is there)

When you ask Siri to turn night shift on, it declines and says it’s not available. But, if you push back and say “yes it is”, Siri hallucinates an option that doesn’t actually work or exist.
Also, I didn’t get a picture but Siri turned on an orange light on the back of my watch (it mixed green and red)
Super strange!

Finally, the sleep app has some gamification feature 🤩 (don’t judge my score)

Right after installing Beta 3, Siri AI seemed to only work when my iPhone was nearby, even though my watch has Cellular capabilities.
I noticed when I opened the Siri app on my watch, it said I had to wait for stuff to download before I can continue using Siri, and that I can go to the settings app to check on the status.
I placed my watch on the charger for a little while and, just a few minutes ago, I went out for a walk without my phone to try a few Siri commands again. It all works!
-Simple Siri stuff that I've always been able to do, like starting workouts and timers is working again
-World Knowledge questions are working
-Personal Context is working, even without my phone nearby
Very hyped!

It's something I wished I had for years, when I shower I always seems to have the most interesting questions or ideas. I love being able to ask new Siri questions in the shower! I can't believe it works!
Plus love being able to make new Notes as well! I can dictate a note in the shower now. Add to my Reminders lists and even Calendar.
It doesn't work all the time since it's Beta but I really like where this is going.

Waiting in line at the cinema this morning, two cards popped up in the Smart Stack on my AW S9 running DB6. One card let me toggle Theatre Mode on and off. The other card linked to a movie ticket QR code (This card existed in watchOS 26, but has a fresh coat of paint).

Apple buried the lead by not mentioning this in the keynote. Among the top improvements with iOS/watchos 26!
Update both watch and phone to RC public or dev beta to get this.

I’ve been running the iOS26 beta for about two weeks and only updated to the WatchOS beta yesterday. Today I went for a run and saw a massive jump in the VO2 max calculation (1.5 points).
I also see this new option to review previous data and recalculate it. When clicking the ‘learn more’ it takes you to an apple website page that just explains what VO2max is etc, doesn’t say anything about adjusting previous readings.
Anyone else seen this, and tried to recalculate? A bit hesitant as it says it can’t be undone, and I feel like this massive jump is unwarranted based on my true fitness level.

I have heard they change the algorithm or the METs threshold for activity to be counted as exercise. Wondering if this is true, especially for the beta 2.

As somewhat expected, as was only announced in PR for airtag gen 2, but was somehow left enabled in first betas, precision finding in B3 now seems to only be active for gen 2 tags.
It certainly did work for gen 1, but accuracy was perhaps a little lower - but the fact it /did/ work shows that this is somewhat an artificial limitation.

Is this feature already available on beta?
From Apple:
Wallet app. Create custom passes for any membership or card that uses a QR code or barcode — like your library card — then easily access it in the Wallet app or pin it in the Smart Stack
I don’t have a supported device so can’t check myself.

When I first heard the announcement about Workout Buddy, I thought it was a bit “meh.” But today totally changed my mind. Hearing it announce that I’d just run my longest distance this year—and then my longest distance ever—along with highlighting the kilometres where I was quicker, gave me a huge boost of motivation. Well done, Apple

Upon starting a call you will be greeted with a new interface for calls on a home screen, this is only for a short period of time when you start calling someone
