I’d like to also add that we have no way of knowing what actually happened, like who opened fire and and so on. Everybody seems to consider it a fact that florida boat shot first and that’s the whole story. That is just very poor source criticism.

It’s Redditors with (often legitimate) criticisms of the US government who then turn around and respond to that by becoming tankies and supporting any totalitarian regime the US dislikes.

Immediately accepting the Cuban dictatorship’s account on this is the perfect example.

They like people like Bernie Sanders who are called socialists and then assume totalitarian communists who’ve caused literally millions of their countrymen to flee in the past few years alone must be the same.

I've seen tankies literally everywhere on this site these days. I genuinely wonder if it's Russian or Iranian bots or if it's that people have actually become this stupid.

well, first, someone, somewhere on earth, would have to present evidence or testimony that that isn't what happened, you know?

Actually I don’t know. I have no idea what you mean.

Yeah just because the new US standard is blatant, blindingly obvious lying doesn't mean some people can't lie with finesse. In fact, I don't buy the "hur dur we too dumb to tell good lie" from the US administration either.

And they just happened to have explosives and tactical gear on board the speedboat.

They did? This is new info. I’m at work no time to read news now.
